Asus A7N8X help!

after my board posts, i get this message:
Warning!! CPU have over speed.
and my system stops booting there. it doenst hang because i can still enter setup at that point, but it wont boot any further.

On the first page of the BIOS, change "Halt On" from "All Errors" to "No Errors".

well i had that set to no errors and it still wasnt working, and then for some reason it decided to work. i still have no idea what the problem was
