How are these results?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and would like to learn more about o/c.. i haven't upgraded since i got my p3-600 2 years ago.. and i clock that to p3-852..

my new setup is
p4-2.0a
asus p4p2-L
512 ddr PC-3200 Samsung
Ati 8500 128 retail

I over clock the 2.0a to 2.680 with 1.70v and it pretty stable.. i ran the following benchmark

3DMark03 - 1205
PCMark2002 - CPU 6489, memory 5960, HDD 516
Sandra CPU Arithmetic - ALU 7184 MIPS, FPU/ISSE2 1494/3509 MFLOPS
Sandra Memory Bandwidth - RAM Int 2665 MB/s, RAM Float 2675 MB/s

can someone tell me if these numbers are any good??

in the bios i use the tubro options

I can't understand why you're running 3Dmark03.. that's not for you. Not unless you have a Direct X 9 card like the Radeon 9700... I suggest you download 3Dmark2001SE....

I'm not familiar with your chip # but it seems like a pretty good OC

I got 8178 with 3DMark2001SE..

yea i'm happy with this o/c but the asus probe is reporting that i'm running at 44-50C most of the time.. i hope that doesn't harm the cpu..

Someone with the p4pe once mention that when he used optimal instead of turbo it let him reach higher fsb. You can try that if you want.

that is a good overclock but I have pc2700 and my mem score for pcmark is 7400 so I'm sure you could get more out of your 3200
