What type and speed are your RAM? It could be RAM timing. I currently have my 1700 at 12x150(2x256 meg MICRON PC 2100) and have room to spare. This is with relaxed timing specs tho. DO NOT use the fast or turbo specs in the BIOS adjustments. Also, don't use PERFORMANCE mode.

i have 256ddr 2700
my xp1700 is stable to 10.5*172=1806Mhz but it's impossible for example to do 11*166=1826Mhz???????????

no i don't use PERFORMANCE and default timing cas2.5-3-3

Have you tried increasing the VCore.

BTW its your CPU and not DDR that is the prob. If it was the DDR you would be able to get a certain FSB and no more whichever multi you used.

it's a xp1700+ 0.13µ JIUCB0251

this processor turn "easylly??sorry??" at 2Ghz so i don't understund why i have problem after 1806Mhz?

i have test vcore=2v with F11 bios and i haven't boot !!!!!!!

now the bios is F6 for test and i look that i have a boot at 10.5*167 en vcore default

BiosF6 10.5*167 vcore 1.65====>ok
BiosF11 10.5*167 vcore 1.65====>no boot
10.5*167 vcore 1.75====>ok

is it possible that problem is the bios??

Yes the BIOS can have a lot to do with it, sometimes a BIOS update can help you OC quite a bit.
Can you get more than 167 with F6 because you dont really want to have the VCore any higher than needed unless you are tring to Burn In.

It does seem to me to be the CPU. A few nights ago, I sat down to do some serious OC'ing, and my JIUHB 0302 cranked up to 14x155 EASILY. I backed off the FSB to 150 to spare my poor periphs. It is running STABLE at 2100. It'll run at 15x133(PC2100), but I can't get the DDR to run any higher with the 15x multi. I haven't tried voltage stepping yet though. Stock Volts.
