Im using 6.13.10.6166 with my Hercules 8500le and everything works fine but I know this version is like 3 versions behind. Every time I update to a newer ATI driver it looks fine but when in 2D when I use the scroll bar while scrolling down a web page the graphics are all wavy and distorted looking.
This happens all the time,I just tried the Cat 3.1 and the same thing happens. I have DX9 now but this happened with Dx8.1 also.
I go to my device manager and the driver version is changed but I always have to roll back to my 6.13.10.6166. to get things smooth again.
The good news is my current drivers work with all my games and my 3Dmarks are in the ball park for this system,its just odd that I can not get newer drivers to work.
