How do I creat a RAM drive?

just for playing HD intensive games, such as MSFS or BF1942.

I used to do this real easy in a Mac, just go to memory control panel and specify amount of RAM to be used as virtual HD and reboot.

So how do I create a RAM drive in win XP?

TweakXP also has a function to perform this task - how much memory do you have btw - installing bf1942 to a ram drive would require alot of it

yeah I will hafta get somore to run BF1942, but in order to save my HD it will be worth it! I know performance will be nominal gain, but want to make my HD spin less
