Ti-4600 to Radeon 9500 pro.... is it worth it ?

I have an Abit ti-4600 128mb 4x video card is it worth it to get a 9500, 9500pro, 9700, or 9700 pro? I need a video card for another machine so i was thinking to upgrade mine + i have a $150 creadit at compusa. Will i notice a difference in 3d mark 03 or in any games? What radeon is the best deal?

well most here and others who have had the 4600 will tell you that with all the bells and whistles turned on the 9500 Pro owns the 4600.

3D mark 01 wise score will prolly be close 4600 may even score a bit higher, but 3D 03 the 9500 Pro cause DX9.

I say get a 9700 and overclock it or flash it to 9700 Pro speeds. I am very happy with my 9500 Pro, it flat out ROX.

So I think you will see a gain the biggest being a 9700 Pro, next 9700 then 9500 non pro and convert it but thats not a guaratee to get 9700 speeds and for a very reasonable amount of cash the 9500 Pro retail card.

If uve already got a Ti4600, its not much of an "upgrade" so to speak, unless ur a graphics nut and love pretty shiny tings I love playing games like Unreal 2 with 4x AA and 16x af (which it looks absolutly horrible without i might add, hehe)

if you have a ti4600 wait for the 9800 pro or the 9900 pro, the only reason i bought the 9700 is cause the fan broke on my geforce 3 ti500, and it burned up. MSI sent me a new one but i sold it and bought a 9700 from newegg. But a geforce 4 ti4600 to a 9700 is not worth it imho.

the 9500 pro is a superb choice or even the 9700 pro or np, but wait til the new radeon comes out and let the 9700 pricr drop and get that i mean with 256 bit memory inteface it's def work it and at 8x agp with dx 9 support go for it
