i'm about to buy this board (was going for epox 8rda+, but the pale green color really bogged me down..) and need to know whether the board has agp/pci lock feature .. tried to read thru the manual on the soltek's website, but it doesn't help .. coz' apparently the manual is stil for bios 1.0 while the current bios is 1.2.

there are a lot changes made from 1.0 to 1.2 (including fsb adjustment),so .. if only someone could help me finding whether this board support agp/pci lock ... I would really appreciate it :D ..

Have been running the SL-75FRN-L for a couple weeks.

This is a dynamite stable Mboard. Yes, as with the other
nForce2 boards the AGP/PCI is locked.

BIOS version 1.3 is available from Soltek TW. It gives FSB
options of 204-207-211. And AGP frequency adjustments.

This Mboard does 200 FSB right out of the box. It didn't
take numerous mods etc. to accomplish this. ala Epox.
Others have found this to be true also.

As it is an nForce2 chipset board it is picky about RAM
if a person is running Dual Channel DDR.

It doesn't have the four mounting holes around the ZIFF
socket but I have a tab holddown unit on order for my
water block so I can water cool this puppy.

And did I mention stable?

Luck.

thx a bunch man, that's very informative and persuasive :D .. I'm buying it ... i'm using d-tek TC-4, so the 6-tabs socket A hold-down sold at d-tek should come handy for me :D .. the most important thing now is to increase the vcore a bit .. i hope this could be addressed on the future bios update .. 1.85 seems kinda weak .. if only they'd get it to 2.10, i'm sure this baby would OC like crazy!!
