I have a GigaByte GA-6VTXE-A mo/bo and having a problem with enabling Ultra ATA/100 both in XP and 9Xs. I tried everything and sent a mail about that to GigaByte but I got an answer like that : "Please appeal to your local seller first, they will certainly help you solving your problem" When I read that I laughed because of my anger cuz I had this problems with my old board (gigabyte) and it's a general problem of these series. (cause a friend of mine is also living the same problem). When my friend wrote them a mail about that problem, they sent a beta bios named "f9a" that solved that problem in XP. but when I tried to install windows98, I get the error that "A Serious physical error occured on Hard Drive"
How can I solve this IDE problem? If there is somebody using this board, please may he or she help me?
