need help pls..

everytime i load boot up after the bios loads then windows loads i get this error while loading windows.. file is missing or corupt
c:\windows\system32\config\system
what causes this ? is it a memory problem or an hd problem?
and also how can i fix this... i tried relaxing my mem timings and repairing the file but i still get this same error..
any suggestions ?

I think your HD can't handle the high FSB I would think. What kind of hard drive is it, how high is your fsb? I have an IBM hard drvie that can't go above 140 fsb for some reason, either that or my mobo messes up the IDE controler with high fsb. What kind of mobo do you have?

It was help if you told us what your system spec and set up is.
