Which of the Asus thermal sensor is right?? The BIOS one show higher tempature than my windows one

my bios says 45c regardless.....asus probe is correct

well i think they use the same thing... unless your mobo has the on-die one also... then the on die one is correct (wich i guess would be the BIOS one...)

Sure ASUS probe is right, that's why the 2.4B at work idles at the ambient temp, and load temp is 40C with the stock HSF.....

If you're using Windows XP, I believe it does some software cooling automatically... that might account for the lower temps.
