Hey everyone, I'm building a new PC for my parents with a T-bird 1.4 I have lying around. Anyway, they already have a case, but I'm also looking for a new PSU. I found THIS at newegg for $41 shipped. Would this powersupply run a 1.4ghz, with onboard audio and video? There won't be any peripherals except a monitor, and cheap ball-mouse and keyboard.

Thank you for the help.

honestly, i think any psu will do that job. 300watts or more ofcourse. What you might want to check is that it has enough power outputs for all your ide drives.

I have 3 hd, 1 cdr/rw, 1 dvd rom and one of my old psu's only had 4 ide power outputs. So i couldn't even power all my stuff not to mention about upgradability. =)

would be using a single 5gb hd and a cd-rw 4x4x32 and maybe a floppy

so will the psu in the case work for this?
