Outlook Express

I was helping a buddy get his computer set up and Outlook Express will not save his password. You type it in and check save password, it saves it until you close the program and then it loses it when you re-open it. You enter it again and it saves for as long as you leave it open. He is on XP home all patches and upadtes loaded. Any advice ?

Thanks I found that as well after going to Google , I searched the MS knowledge base and only found stuff for 98 and 2k , then went to Google and found an XP on the knowledge base.
