creative 5200's

I have sb pci sound card, it supports up to 7.1's so i know it can take 5.1's. I can't get my middle speaker to work. I know the actual speaker it self works b/c i've plugged it into different slots (on the sound card) and sound comes out... any body know whats goin on here? I think i just have a bad slot (for the center speaker) on the sound card. Yes it is set to 5.1 on my sound card.

I have the same exact problem on my Inspire 5300's. No matter what game I am playing or what I am watching, the center doesn't run. I have it set to 5.1 also. It does run in "surround sound" mode(Splinter Cell sounds great), but still no center... I hope someone can come up with a fix.
