why wont my ftp server work ahh!

ok so im tryin to set up ftp server with
bulletproof ftp server v2.15
i have it set up ( i have a router, i forwarded the port (1337))
and my friends can connect but for some reason it says this:
425 Cannot open data connection (10060)

so .. wtf ? they can't see any files.. even tho i shared the folder.. it wont upload the directory list to them or something.

I believe FTP uses two ports, one for control and one for the actual transfer. You'll need to forward both ports.

Also, if your using passive mode, where the server picks a transfer port from a range upon getting a connection, you'll need to forward the entire range. Look around in the server's configuration to see what port range your using.

I believe it still works with one passive port, but it may be a better idea to just use active mode in that case. Google turned this up:
