I have the above MOBO with the following sticker:
K7ART1H012111 P10 (10 is surrounded by a triangle) F86 (86 is surrounded by a circle) QA
I am assuming that this is a v1 MOBO. I have flashed to the A9 bios.
I bought a XP1900+ (to replace my 1200) to put in this board to see if it will work. I understand that it is a board by board basis as to whether this 1900+ will work.
Before I put the CPU in, what do I have to do to the CPU to unlock it (if it isn't already unlocked)? Which bridges do I have to close (I used the defroster kit on the 1200) to make sure that I get all the necessary multipliers, etc available to me in the BIOS?
Also, are there any issues that I should be aware of prior to trying this? I would have gotten a new MOBO/CPU/MEM but I can't afford all at this time so the CPU was the next thing.
