Long Beeps

K just wipped up another system. Started it up and of course something was wrong. Got a long beep then stopped then another long beep ect. Ok so its a memory problem. Reseated the memory same problem. ehhhh.... Help? Oh yeah its displaying "C1" on the display on my epox mobo.

simpletech DDR 512 2100 memory (just bought from newegg)

Try a different stick of ram.

I had that problem once on an AK31 where it wasn't ram... I'd fried my northbridge. Most likely its ram.

Take out your memory and run a soft eraser across the contacts. I've had the same problem with my 8KHA+ and when I do this it boots right up.

same problem with a Shuttle, try new ram.

Im thinking its not the ram, i came back from the store with some new "elixir" 512 PC2700 and it did the same thing. Luckily i have another mobo ill test.

yup, the mobo was messed up. Switched mobos and it posted. Thanks for all your help guys
