3.06 intel fan direction

Should the fan I recieved with my Intel 3.06ghz cpu be pushing air into the heatsink or pulling it off? Which is the better solution ?

Almost all (i know of no counterexample) CPU fans push air on to the heatsink.

Usually in is better. You could always try out and check your temps quick.

Should be in cooling section. Yes the fan does blow onto the heatsink. It's designed to blow onto the heatsink.
