Might would fit but the push pins probably wouldn't line up. You might could use some as3 epoxy to put it on and not have to use the epoxy.

sorry for nickin your thread but i dont see the popint in starting another one for the same question, will it fit on a 8500? i got no holes on it tho, but i mean clearance wise, wot r the dimesnsions of the cooler?
