My Memory, or something else???

I have two 512 DDR 400 Samsung chips, and I was wanting to get a P4 2.4 and a new MOBO. I want to overclock one since I have not ever done it. The question I have is will my ram work ok, or should I go to a different type of ram? Like Crucial, or Mushkin? I have not gotten anything yet so if you have any Hype to give me about a certain board, I would like to hear about them. I have read about the Asus P4PE, but that was a month or so ago. I am not sure if there is anything bad about it now. Also read about the new abit board. Are there any reveiws or has anyone pushed its button yet? Thanks for any help in advance!!!!
