so how the heck to i make a bootdisk in winxp to flash the a7n8x 1002A bios??????

i'm lost and stuck on 1001.......

Just use a Win98 or a ME bootdisk...

right click your floppy drive. then click format. then make a bootable ms-dos disk and extract the bios onto the disk

i've flashed my nomad jukebox 3 once... once.

no dice...

ran the awdflash and all that...

still on 1001e...

the only winning move is not to play.

tried it a second time... all the blocks turned white except the 5th and 6th from the end, which stayed blue for "no update." so i ran it again... it worked

previously, 157x12 would post, 150x15 would post and load winxp...

currently surfing the boards at 166x12.5 heh heh heh

stock machine:
133x15 = 2000MHz, ti4200@250/512 = 10273 3dmarks

with a new bios, the side removed and a coupla strategical fans:
180x12 = 2160MHz, ti4200@270/557 = 11826 3dmarks

12k will have to wait till next weekend
