Flat cold cathodes?

have any of you seen these?

has anybody seen/used these before?

never seen them....but I wouldn't get one for a normal case. They seem very directional. Doesn't seem to light up as much as a normal CCFL. A regular CCFL will run almost the entire length of your case, which will light up a lot of stuff. Much more practical for lighting the whole case.

What I could see using those flat ones for is like for the front grill of a case, or another small space like that.

that's what i thought, it didn't seem like it would light as much to me either

Definetly not worth it I think. LEDs would be even better than those
