Interesting perhaps. But they won't get anywhere with their info. Intel does not use flash to define those small characteristics of their chips. Moreover, the mechinaism they use is not re-programmable once the chip leaves the factory.

Trying to enable HT on a non-HT-enabled chip is not a very good investment of one's time.
 
interesting. if this turns out to be true, then the implications for future procs could be interesting. imagine buying a low end prescott and modding it to a higher end one with the flash :eek:
