How to flash an ATI video BIOS?

Hey all. I have a Radeon 8500 retail and I want to flash a new BIOS onto this card. I want the BIOS to have Sideband Addressing disabled aswell (I think SBA is limiting my OC on the video). Anyone have any links to guides? Or maybe someone would be kind enough to tell me how to flash a bios?

if you want a guide or read up on updating your bios on the ati card. Read this link I have below. It tells you how to flash the bios and where to get the flash program. Always remember to back your bios just incase you mess up.

The big thing for me is finding a Radeon 8500 bios file and bios editor. Anyone know where I can find these things?

quegyboe,

with PowerStip, one of the many options is to
disable sidbanding. I use it mostly to lock my refresh rates for games
that would revert to 60hz. not to mention setting core/memory clock
speeds.
