Out of all three of these which one oc's the most mhz? Another way to put it how much can 1700+, 2100+ and 2400+ oc to on air? Because I'm reading the 2100 can goto 2300 - 2400 and the 1700 someone just said 2400-2600. Thanks.

Not shure about the others but atm I am running 13x166FSB (2172MHZ) on the stock 1.65Vcore :D And I have no sign of stoping hope this helps... oh and I am useing 3 fans and Retail Heatsink at 35c

thanks for your replies, will the 1700+ oc faster in pure mhz than the 2100+ or 2400+?

It will really depends on the chip, some stepping 2400+ overclock pretty well, although some 2100+ will go even higher then the 2400+, I had a 2400+ Aiucb that would only do 2200 max and my 2100+ Aiuhb does 2400 mhz and has been at 2600 before.

I feel all of these chips have good overclocking.. The higher speed you get the higher speed you should be able to achieve.. I'd go with the 2100 since it's a good price and it can clock fairly high.

It really depends on the stepping, but I would elminate the 1700+ (unless the miracle chip is as good as I'm hearing).

Damn I'm thinking of just waiting till everything becomes cheaper. Although i'm hating the fact that my 2200+ only oc's to 1985 mhz lol I can't get above 147 fsb no matter what! Its not my ram I have ddr 2700 corsair. =(

my 2400+ goes to 2.41Ghz and is being held back by my ram which is only pc2700(333)(166) running @ 172 - its cheap ram!
so Iam not finished overclocking yet! I'll try and get some better ram that can get me to 2.5Ghz! (on air!)
