i have a single 256mb xms3500 and i can run it 225fsb 2.0-2-2-5 and pass prime with it. will do 229 2.0-3-3-7 all run at 2.9v and also pass.

hyperX 3500 is like $20 cheaper a stick and i need to buy at least 1 more mabey 2.i know they make great stuff and is comperable.
but has anyone or can anyone run their hyperX this high and pass prime?

btw i dont consider prime a perfect tool to test system stability.so if it passes prime or not isnt all that important to me.i just need cold hard facts :D

the timings arent as good. it uses the 8 on the discharge setting the hyperx. the XMS uses 7. my giga mobo wont even do 8 -7 is the lowest

The new hyper 3500 uses 7 3321, but you can't tell from the part #'s which is the newer.

get twinmos 3200 w/ winbond 5ns chips (memoryx.com) or better 3700(has 4.3ns!) if you can find it.....

almost all twinmos can do 230(+) 5-2-2-2 w/ 2.9-3.0v

mine can do 220 6-3-3-2 w/ only 2.7v

guys im looking for 220-225fsb 2.0-2-2-5 anything less isnt needed.i need it to run as good as my xms3500 before i could justify buying it over corsair.

emricana yes i agree the twinmos 3200 is right there but i like buying from newegg.and only 2 places sell twinmos.plus im not in the mood to gamble my money as twinmos isnt guarenteed to run even close to this.
