I am trying to put a VooDoo 5 5500 into an Abit KD7E and the AGP slot is different!!! I thought AGP was AGP! How come the Voodoo card won't go into the slot? What's up? Geeeze these things make me nuts!! I believe it's time to take up knitting or something decidedly low-tech.!

I believe it's because the original AGP spec was 3.3v, and the new AGP spec is 1.5 volt, and mixing the two is a bad idea, hence the slightly different slot config.

Sorry. :(
