Thumbs up The work that Mods do

I just started being a Mod at another site, and let me say, it is quite a job! The other site is not a popular as this one, but it keeps me on my toes.

The Mods at this forum must be going crazy, I had delusions about being a Mod here, but you guys work entirely too much.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Mods here do a great service to this community! It's just that they aren't getting paid enough.

To all of you, keep up the good work.

steve

Hey, in a week our pay rate doubles .

House: This is the only way! Sometimes solutions are NP complete and there's nothing anyone can do about it! Foreman, sneak into the physics department and reroute their servers to ours, we need the extra processors if we don't want this equation to go quadratic on us. Chase, patch the memory leak and install Matlab 9.3.
Chase: Shouldn't we be using Mathematica for potentially asymptotic functions?
House: When I want your opinion, I'll do an affine transformation to get it. I'm off to see Cuddy. Those parabolic eigenvalues of hers must be good for something.

I wish mine did, but our boss is a pinchpurse. We're getting a 50% cut.

Well our pay is all over the place. Twice of nothing and 50% of nothing is still the same pay .

The impressive thing, three of the members here are Mods over there. You all trained us well.

As always, keep up the good work.

I'm over at Abit's forum, there's a few of us there. I really didn't want to say, since there's a warning about recruiting here, but I don't think this is recruiting.

Hes recruiting! Ban him! BAN HIM!!!

J/K

Yeah, the mods do work to hard. I'm suprised they all don't just snap and ban everyone. Then sit there laughing while all us users wonder why we can't log in. Hehe.

Uhh oh... April fools day is coming up... I wonder what nasty tricks will be played here...

You notice I didn't even put a link in? If you want to go there, you gotta find it.

You're right about Modding being serious work, we're getting hammered by some pro-saddam whackos, even posting pics from some sick site with bloody bodies. Yuck!

Like I said earlier, these Mods work their tails off. If you want to know how someone does it, walk a mile in their shoes.

[The Horror]
The members made mods and the mods become abusive irate members for a day.
[/The Horror]

If it weren't for the weeks of cleanup that would require, it would be interesting to find out how many people truly have no clue how hard the mods and admins (not forgetting the seniors of course) work to keep this place running smoothly.
