i dont think many people will seeing how new the chip is but i would expect to get a pretty good gain out of it if i was you

I had a 2800+ and the best it would do was 2380 with water cooling and 1.85 volts. I briefly took it to 2450 with 2 volts.

New Barton 2500+ week 0308 running at 11*198fsb = 2.18. Vcore at 1.70 on the A7N8X mb. Note this is faster than the stock 3000+ which operates at 2.167.
This system is not stable at 200fsb or with an 11.5 multiplier, even if I increase vcore to 1.75.

what is stock vcore on the bartons?

I would say that the 256 cache isn't going to give you better preformance over 120mhz. But then again these chips are new and haven't read alot on them yet.

The extra cache only kicks in whe n it comes to really high cache intensive programs like can be tested in PCmark, but other than t=hat you won't see much of a difference at least not in 3dmark or anything...

im running a stable 2288MHz (183x12.5) on my 2500+ @ 1.675 Vcore. id like to try to get a 200 bus on it, but i dont think my memory will make it. its cheap DDR333, think i should get some DDR400 or something along the lines.
