wireless router?

i have a Orinoco gold card.

What would work well with this as for a wireless router? I want a pretty good one i heard many newer models that support faster and backward compatable to my setup.
I also have a freewireless lan 3.3 miles away from my house i wonder if i can reach it with my cantenna. I wanted to build some antenna's but i can't get a hold of N female panel connectors. If someone can donate please pm me .

I don't know about a cantenna going 3 miles. I've seen people get some really sick ranges with a parabolic dish if you know anyone with one of those 18" directv dishes lying around. Basically, you point a cantenna into the dish and have the dish reflect a larger signal area into the antenna. However, dishes can provide gains higher than which is allowed by the FCC, but not many people will realize its not for TV.

Although your local communication store (look in phone book under amature radio) will probabally cary them. If that is not feasible you can find the N panel jacks online for about six dollars, perform the following search in google: "N jack" "panel mount"

i have direct tv... but we use it to watch tv would it mess it up if i used it and try to connect? i brought 60 inches pigtail... it might not be long enough unless i climb on my roof and try to get signals lol.
