FX 5200 Ultra 128 4x\8x
From Pixelview on sale @ Internetishop

129$ Nvidia didn't lie about "giving" us a Directx 9 fully compliant card for 100 bucks
They might ship internationally , not sure ...

People don't See 9500 Pro vs FX 5200 Ultra. They see ATI vs nVidia. People already have their minds made up. "You're a slave to corporate logo's!"

Like the Captain said, 9500s are selling for not much more than that.

At Newegg, a 9500 non-pro is only $155 and a 9500 non-pro card will outperform a FX 5200 easily.

nVidia can probably get away with selling almost anything because, well........they're nVidia. Kinda like Microsoft, or Intel.

Plus the average Joe, AOL user #520756329875234, has no idea what's what in the first place. Who's got the bigger name, the flashier advertising, and above all: hype. End of story, unfortunately.

ATi is slowely but surely gaining market share. If the current performance advantage is sustained for a longer period of time (and who knows if it will), then eventually nVidia won't be able to charge more for inferior products.

nVidia doesnt even have a fully compliant DX 9 video card for $400, let alone $100
