5.5x and 5.0 dont work

Would there be any peticular reason for this? When i try to use them the fsb turns to 70 on post. I have a a7n8x with a 1000 mhtz tbird. Reason i wana use them is the cpu craps out at 1160 so im stuck at 192x6 if 5.5 dont work.
