I was wondering if a Fortron 300w (the 120mm fan model) would be enough to run an overclocked amd 1700+. I will only have 1 HD 2 CD-roms, Geforce2, and I am planing on running the 1700 at lets say 2.2ghz. I was just wondering if anyone has used this model with an overclocked CPU and if i should just get the 350 watt model.

A bottom of the barrel 250W is almost enough to run a 1.3 GHz Duron or a 1.7 GHz Celeron, so I'm 100% sure that a high quality 300W Fortron will have no problems with an overclocked AMD 1700+.

The 300W model will do the job, but the 350 is so little more money it is a better value.

Yeah Im thinking about getting the 120mm 350w version. Its only $45. Thanks guys
