Hi !
I got an Abit KX7-333R that previously ran a XP2000 @186FSB (could do 190fsb).

Today i got my XP2500 and got it running at 12.5x179~2242mhz
It seems 179 FSB is max for this CPU (also at a 12 multiplier) so i need to get the multiplier higher. My bios says 12.5/13 which gives 12.5 and "13 or above" which gives a very low multiplier (don't remember).

What do i do ? Bridges to be cut or closed ?

I believe you have to blow the fifth L3 bridge, just like with the Tbreds with default multis 12.5 and below. This will set the signal to hi and allow you to have access to multipliers 13 and above.

well, you get a battery, stick some wires on it, locate the 5th L3 bridge, and then put one end of the each wire on each end of the bridge and then poof, youve blow your bridge, its really easy.
