Technically you aren't allowed to do that. If you're playing on battle.net, it checks the CD keys for the original Star Craft. You're supposed to have a CD key for each instance of the game, but the only game I know of that has a CD checker for LAN games it C&C Generals.

I believe you can install one of them as a "spawn" copy, and it won't require the CD, and you'll have access to B.net. However, the spawn is only allowed to join games that were created by the non-spawn copy.

The option to install as a spawn is right under the normal install button on the autorun dialog.

If you want to use full versions, you can both be on b.net, just not at the same time.

Bah, all my accounts have been gone for a long time. A friend of mine used to have about 900 - 250 (I think, it was a long time ago), but I think that account is gone too

When ever I hit 450 wins I would make a new account. I didn't liked being booted out of games.

I think total I never lost 100 games. But.. there is a catch. I never played without my friend. So I never really knew how good I was by myself. My friend's ID was mushypoop.

All my accounts are long gone, but I never held one long enough to get over 100, I usually ended up with about 80-5-5 or similar before I would get bored of it and uninstall it.

Mine were always littered with people who'd disconnect.

I think my record was something like 80-4-62
