Cpu Temps - Believe To What ?

hey i got
gigabyte ga-8sr533p
p4 2.0A @ 2.52

i got hardcano 2 and one sensor under the cpu
i mean between the socket and the cpu

hardcano shows 10c lower than the board

the board is new after my old one was ruined ( 8sr533 )
the old one didnt got temps sensors so i bought the hardcano

according to board :
idle - 38
full load - 55

according to hardcano :
idle - 28
full load - 45

what is the accurate one?
believe what?

im with stock cooling @ 3700rpm ( modded )

how is your case cooling? air circulation?
how many fans?
55C is a little hot but shouldnt be a problem...

midtower atx case
3 fans

1 outtake below the psu
1 intake below the hdds
1 blowing air on gfx card

55 is too hot for me

i just want to know what is the accurate one
the board or the hc2

forgot to mention
2-3 degrees down when i open the case so the circulation is pretty good...

i had about the same temp (55C max)on my 2.4 on a Intel HSF when i just got it...
3 fans. top blowhole, front intake, rear exhaust.

i added 2 side fans (intake since)
now my max temp as 49C [email protected]...

temps are from MBM5...

go with the board temps...
not sure how close you have your h2 sensor to the core...

follow ur board sensor since it reads the die temps....

we got same temps dont worry
