When i put in a DVD+R it would constantly click and even left it for 15 minutes no result.
I searched around and found that there are different firmwares some said to allow DVD+R to be read.
Tried 1.11 RPC-1 firmware, same thing, then tried 1.07 RPC-1 (which is what i have now) Same thing.
by the way I am running windows XP
I have almost given up but i REALLy need the data on these two DVD+Rs.

I have found this when i did a search a calibration, Should i try this or this Pionner DVD500M just can't read DVD+Rs ???

I hope someone was able to figure it out and share how he did it.

I have opened the DVD player to try the calibration thing. I saw the two calibration buttons but there super deep inside i had to take apart the hole thing just to see them. So doing that is out of the question.
