Compaq mobo

Hi all, i have a compaq system, but i might be purchasing a Lian Li pc60 case, and was just wondering because i've heard that some compaq mobo's screw holes don't align on some cases mobo trays, because im putting all my hardware into the new case. Is this true, and what do you think? Thank you.

Most OEM motherboards will NOT mount into after market cases. My Compaq 5150 MB wont even come close to mounting in a reg. case.
