okie.. i was soldering these little pins.. and i screwed up.. so i had to remove all the solder points that i did.. so i removed them... then i screwed up again..

etc. etc. etc.

there is a blot of solder where all the connections are.. how do i remove em?

Head over to Radioshack and pick up some desoldering braid, about 4 bucks.

You heat up the solder and the braid will soak it up off the connections. You could also get a vaccum desoldering tool there for about 10 bucks.

You can also just strip some stranded wire like speaker wire. Add a dab of flux to it, and it makes a good solder wick too.
A steel brush works to wipe it off also, if it's not in too tight of a spot, and I've used a straw to blow melted solder out of postion too, as long as you're not in danger of blowing it into some other troublesome location. ;)
