DMZ is a bad idea security-wise, I wouldnt' recommend it as a long-term solution.

You should only map ports for "incomming" connections, where people on the internet would need to connect to you. (To retrieve a webpage from your webserver, for example). CUSeeME will require a port map.

Your regular browsing and email shouldn't, because they're all outgoing connections.

Try connecting your computer directly (w/o the router), and see if you can get the pages. I know there are a few sites, esp. MSN sites, that dont' like to work some times.

Try turning off zone alarm. In my experience, it has been known to cause odd problems.

Try turning off any programs you aren't using. You never know. Then, once no programs are running, try to get to a site that you couldn't get to before. If you can get there, add back programs till you find the one that stops the connection.

If no programs are stopping it, try removing the router from the configuration. If it works then, then we'll know it's the router for sure.

I did some looking, but I can't find anyone with the same symptoms. I would doublecheck the router's config, maybe hard-reset it, and if your still having problems, contact Linksys tech support, and see if they have anything to add, or get a replacement.
