This is what I understand of burnin. First you raise your Vcore to the highest your comfortable with, then you drop your multiplier and FSB and run a burnin for a day or 2? Then you up the FSB and multi until the computer can't pass a certain point and then you try upping the Vdimm. Also when your juggling the mutiplier and the FSB whats more important a high multiplier and low FSB or a low multiplier and high FSB. I would just like to know the best methodology of overclocking, because I looked at begginer manuals and they are either not detailed enough, out of date, or too technical.

A higher fsb frequency increases the speed of all devices that run on the front side bus whose frequencies are not locked. A higher multiplier only increases the speed of the processor. If two combinations of multi and frequency achieve the same speed and are stable, then often people choose the one with the higher frequency.

You can use the forum search function to find information for burning in a processor, there is plenty of discussion in the amd cpu section.

You need to be able to understand what the two guides are saying that I linked to, and then you will know what you are doing.
