[HELP]Tank-o-matic trying to use 3/8 IN

Well i don't know what to do right now
Stuck....
was thinking since i can take out the whole bottom chrome fitting i can somehow find a brass or some fitting i can screw it in instead of the original one that takes 3/8" IN?

Help me if anyone has modded this before
