SA6R Website - Anyone interested?

Hi folks,

I'm the pround and reasonably new owner of an Abit SA6R. To date I have been impressed with this motherboard, but, as with a lot of new hardware I feel it has a wealth of untapped potential. So far I have been dissappointed with the 'fan generated' support the board has out there, and was wondering if you people think there would be sufficient interest, and more importantly support for a dedicated website? My board has it's share of quirks and problems, some specific to the SA6R, some more attributed to the i815 chipset. In either case, there are always ways of making things better, and my experience has told me to look to the users of a product for answers, and not to rely on the manufacturer - ever.

Basically I am offering to at least start a website which will attempt to pool peoples experiences and tips for the motherboard, as well as cover any relevant news as it occurs.

As far as credentials go, I started the first and largest P3V4X site just over a year ago now, and whilst I stopped updating it around November, it is still a wealth of information for P3V4X users and continues to get hundreds of visitors every day. I know first hand what is involved in a website of this nature and I do not intend to attempt more than I can handle. I also had the first and only dedicated (although now it shares with the CUV4X) P3V4X forum started for us at overclockers.com.au, which was I must say, a roaring success, only just recently surpassed in posts by OCAU's main hardware forum!! Counting the old forums post count, it has had over 30000 posts!

The content I would provide would rely on you people... the SA6R owners and operators. Without you and your input, such a website is nothing more than a name.

Initially there would be a small FAQ, some news and most importantly - a dedicated forum! Yes, I'll try and make this one prettier than the last. ;-)

So... who's keen?

ps: I'd need a name too!

Sounds like a cool idea, hope it works out and you have a better response than what you're getting on this thread. I'd be willing to post my experiences with the SA6R, as soon as I get the one I ordered. I have an UPS tracking number and the board seems to have taken a slow boat from California.
