Ok
My sis wants a comp for herself and her daughter (9) just for basically word, learning games etc (nothing high usage like UT2003 ) also internet (she wants B/band) and she's thinking about getting a digital camera.
She's got a budget of about £300-£350 including monitor. So i'm looking at about 600-650mhz/128 ram (i'll stick in another 128 as well) 10-15gb HDD etc.
So, would it be cheaper for me to buy one, say second hand, install win XP, office, mcafee, etc and sell her that or make my own (i.e buy parts and put it together myself) ?
I'm not out to make money, i can spend like £20-30 of my own money as well, but i wanna get a good deal and HOPEFULLY not go over the bidget.
Also remember that my current RIP (rig in progress) isn't being made yet cos i don't have the case, so although i've fixed and upgraded PC's, i've never built one from scratch and so don't have a huge amount of knowledge of the older parts...
Any advice?
Thanks, ArBiTaL24.
