I was considering purchasing a Gigabyte motherboard model #GA-5SMM and was just wondering if this one was any good. I notice it can be overclocked quite a bit. I'll be using it with a K6-2 processor.

Never heard of that mobo, but I have had three Gig mobos and have been pleased with all. Though they aren't top of the tree for overclocking, they do give good features for the money.

I agree totally with Ben, Gigs are usually nice, rock solid, reliable mobos at stock speeds, but usually they are a bit short on OCing potential. The one you mentioned may be better, not sure I have come accross it though.
