SL6EF.. Stock cooling.. 8SQ800..

SL6EF Q307A163 Packdate 3/11/03
GigaByte 8SQ800 B0 F5 BIOS
2x256 Corsair XMS (not LL series)

Had some problems at first.. relaxed memory timings and lowered dram clock, so I could OC higher.

Can't post any 3D Benchmarks.. getting a 9700Pro soon.. Bestbuy was out of stock today and same with CircuitCity Using a gf2 pro.. don't want to install drivers.

All results are with memory timings at 2-7-3-3, at 2-6-3-3 I couldn't OC over 148, and at 2-7-2-3 there were also a few problems

160FSB 7027 - 6613

I will post 3Dmark2003 and 2001 results when I get my video card =)

I can probably get more than 160FSB out of this baby.. I'm going to sleep now tho, so I'll try it later

Im running about 29-32 idle and 45-47 when Prime95 is running. Only ran Prime95 for about 15 Mins..

Haven't adjusted vcore or anything else either.. I think once I benchmark 3Dmark.. I'll back off to about 150'ish don't want to go overboard and I have my comp on pretty much 24/7.

hi,

what vcore are you using for that cpu.

you may need 1.7v or 1.725v to get that puppy to 3.0ghz

The vcore is like 1.575 according to EasyTune4...

Overnight I ran Prime95 to see if it was stable at 160... today when I turned on my monitor.. there was no prime95.. so Im guessing it wasn't stable and my computer reboot itself
