im working with some people to start up a data base of benchmarkes useing the prime95 client (useing the bench marke feature)

the question to you as overclockers and non overclockers

is what info would you like to have included in the feilds to make it usefull to search by

weve already got

timings ( duh)
cpu type
memory amount
version of prime (for accuracy)
ie.

Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.00GHz
CPU speed: 1994.12 MHz
CPU features: RDTSC, CMOV, PREFETCH, MMX, SSE, SSE2
L1 cache size: 8 KB
L2 cache size: 512 KB
L1 cache line size: 64 bytes
L2 cache line size: 64 bytes
TLBS: 64
Prime95 version 22.8, RdtscTiming=1
Best time for 256K FFT length: 12.229 ms.
Best time for 320K FFT length: 16.104 ms.
Best time for 384K FFT length: 19.537 ms.
Best time for 448K FFT length: 23.448 ms.
Best time for 512K FFT length: 26.311 ms.
Best time for 640K FFT length: 34.176 ms.
Best time for 768K FFT length: 41.644 ms.
Best time for 896K FFT length: 51.129 ms.
Best time for 1024K FFT length: 55.390 ms.
Best time for 1280K FFT length: 79.667 ms.
Best time for 1536K FFT length: 97.379 ms.
Best time for 1792K FFT length: 121.184 ms.

what else would you like to have added ( keep in mind that prime95 automaticly does the above string on benchmark the rest would have to be added manualy so that may lead to decreased participation and or lieing)

my suggestions to the commite so far are:

comments feild
chipset
hsf or wb manufacture ( detalis might have to go into the coments)
timeings on memory
and mabey memory brand name

and i have voted to make the above optional

so any thing you would like to see in there now is your chance to vote and make for a better tommrow

Hmm.... everything there seems good. I'd include OS though, and specific Heatsink/Waterblock model. Good idea, be sure to post a link when its finished.

what im thinking is

two radio butons

one for hsf and one for wb

then mabey a drop down menu of popular brands and then a other feild incase you have a odd one

os would be a good idea as well

What about memory type (SDRAM, DDR, RDRAM)? You've got timings, but not the actual type of the darn stuff :D

And FSB should probably be there so we know how fast the RAM is going (...though the Intel's have asynch memory, so you may want to include the ratio for it too...).

very good

ill suggest that as well

anyothers

when we get a good idea of what were going to use i will list them all and we can rate them in order of importance
