what do you use, LCDs or CRTs? post brand, size, and model # if applicable........., and if CRT, wether it is flatscreen or not, max res, and what res you run in normally

heres mine for example:

dell trinitron CRT
15.7" viewable
flat screen
1600x1200 max res
1152x864 normal

Samsung Synchmaster 753DF CRT
16" viewable
flat screen
2048x1200 max res
1280x1024 normal

LCD
Planar PX171m
17in viewable
1280x1024 normal and max
16ms response time

some say this is the best gaming lcd out there.... i strongly agree!

CRT
Viewsonic E771
17 inch, 16 viewable
NOT a flat screen
1280x1024 max res
1024x768 normal res

I've had it for 3 years now, and won't upgrade until LCD's get larger/cheaper/ better for gaming...actually i want a 21inch flatscreen CRT....i don't think i'd go LCD because i have enough space for bulky monitors

CRT: 19" NEC MultiSync 97f .20mm dot pitch. few 17"'s for various other systems.
LCD: only on my latptop

19" LG Electronics Flatron 915FT+
18" viewable
very flat screen
1920x1440 max res I think
1280x1024 normally

quite the excellent monitor in my opinion. a bit pricey, but it's one of the top 19" CRTs you can get. however, these desks in college are TINY and I don't have much desk space, so now I'm kinda wishing I had dough to get a nice, big, LCD--perhaps the HP 20.1" monitor reviewed in the past issue of C.P.U.

LCD
Viewsonic VP150
15in viewable
max resolution: 1024x768
kept at 1024x768
30ms response time

I've used this monitor for 5 years now, and i've been pretty satisfied with it. Not the best gaming monitor, but great for everyday tasks.
