WLAN tech Requirements

im working on my assignment ive done non-technical and i stucked on defining technical requirements.

does anyone know where can i read about defining technical requirements for wireless lan ?

when i did a research project regarding wireless lan's back when I still went to college, I found a lot of info in www.weca.net (they're an alliance of manufacturers who suppost WIFI or 802.11 wireless technology) and at this site http://standards.ieee.org (they're the group that defined what the standards would be for any 802.11 technology)... hope that helps
