First off, Let me point you to a thread I made about rather.. unexpected ammount of cooling I found in a Pavilion here
Now, I was going through the same HP computer today, looking through it real good because I was sticking a second harddrive in it, and I must say DAMN.
They had the wires bundled nicely and ran cleanly, Not near as cleanly as most on these forums would like but pretty damn good for an OEM company. Second, the case actually had a pull out drive cage. I couldn't believe that a OEM computer, which is classic for trying to cut costs, would have a pullout drive cage. It even has a removable side pannel with some nifty chrome thumbscrews.
Overall, They put this computer together real well. My faith in them has been partially rekindled because of it.
The only real problem there is, is how they laid out the drive cage. The floppy drive HAS to be in the middle of the cage, so you can only put the HDDs on top and bottom of it, which makes the IDE cables look unpretty [ that a new word? ] but with some work its still pretty nice, I'll say again.. nice for an OEM computer, not nice for most of the people here
This is a drastic change from the past HP computers I've seen, one of which was a midtower computer crammed tight into a micro tower case.
