A couple hours ago I was posting in this forum, and my computer just sudenly turned off. No warnings no nothing, it just turned off and rebooted and when to the scandisk screen. Any ideas why this happened? And it has nothing to do with the plug, no clocks lost power or anything.

Could use a little more info on your rig, but usually, random reboots can be traced to the PSU(inadequate), memory, or heat.

ya more info for sure.. also low voltage set to components liek memory or proc if you are overclocking (otherwise like stool said the others...)

ok this is like 2 year old computer, back then i didn't know anything. This is a stock Dell p4 1.3 ghz 256 mb RDRAM, i didn't overclock mod or anything.... and it happened again last night.
